sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>When asked what Internal Medicine is, we like to respond, perhaps in a somewhat pretentious way, that it is the specialty closest to the art of medicine.<\/p>\n<p>We internists face difficult clinical problems, of uncertain origin, identifying the crucial elements in the anamnesis (interrogation) and in the physical examination, requesting the adequate studies, to then organizing and interpreting the obtained large amount of data and information.<\/p>\n<p>On a daily basis we face a definitive decision-making process through the integration of our medical knowledge with intuition, our experience and cognitive judgment;
